Derby Parrot Heads

Think you make great chili? PROVE IT! $10 entry fee. Any type homemade chili accepted. Cook at home and bring entry to club. Contestants must provide heat source and serving ladle. Club will provide all other necessities. TWO winners - popular vote by $1 ballots and a Judges winner. Popular winner receives stuffed Margaritaville gift basket filled with great items. Judges winner receives $50 cash and entry fee into Phoenix Hill Tavern’s Chili contest. Official rules will be available by email very soon.

Admission into event for non-contestants is $5.00. Baked goods and hot dogs will be sold. Door prizes, raffles and drawings available. 50% of proceeds benefit Relay for Life.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 27th from 5-8 pm at the Aero Club on Bowman Field.

DOMINO COLLEGE REUNION! Please invite previous DPH members or folks who would be interested in the club.

Monthly meeting of the DPHs. Open to ANYONE interested. Please bring canned goods and non-perishable items for donations to KY Harvest. Chili cook off, club by-laws (including membership dues), Relay For Life, Buffett concert transportation and other subjects will be discussed. Club survey will be distributed. New member kit and other items to be displayed.

This months meeting will be held at the Aero Club on Bowman Field from 630-830 pm.

The Scholarship is for current Parrot Head Club Members of an officially Chartered Chapter or their children or grandchildren, for post secondary education. This program was established in 2008. Three scholarships will be awarded in 2010. The funds may be used for tuition, books or living expenses, at an accredited four-year university or college of the student’s choice. The award will be paid to the winners’ school account, when a student account is established.
